How It Works

When you open a tool and select an image, the file is read directly by your browser using the File API. All transformations — format conversion, compression, resizing — are performed using the Canvas API and WebAssembly libraries running inside your browser tab. The processed result is then offered as a download, generated entirely on your device.

No file is ever transmitted to our servers. In fact, our servers only serve the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files that make the tools work — they never see your image data.
